Wearables continue to gain traction as fitness operators and corporate wellness programs look for tools that connect daily behavior with long-term health outcomes. ŌURA, maker of the Oura Ring smart wearable, is pushing deeper into that space with the launch of the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, a portable charging case, multi-ring account support, and expanded health integrations.
The Ceramic Collection introduces four new color options crafted from zirconia ceramic, a material valued for its durability and comfort. “Ceramic is a remarkable material that gives us the freedom to explore form, color, and texture in a way that feels deeply personal,” said Miklu Silvanto, chief design officer at ŌURA.
ŌURA is also increasing flexibility for members by allowing multiple Oura Ring 4 devices to be paired under a single account. A new portable charging case stores up to five charges and is designed for portability with a recycled aluminum exterior.
Perhaps the most notable development for the market is the launch of Health Panels. This feature links cardiometabolic biomarkers from Quest Diagnostics with the continuous data collected by the Oura Ring. Holly Shelton, chief product officer at ŌURA, said, “Health Panels are the next pivotal step in the evolution of ŌURA from a consumer wearable to a comprehensive health management platform.”
The expansion signals a shift from wearables as tracking devices toward more integrated health management tools. For fitness operators, the developments point to a growing role for wearables in preventative health, longevity, and member engagement strategies.
