EoS Fitness Introduces AI-Powered EGYM Genius Training Plans

EoS Fitness has announced the rollout of EGYM Genius, an AI-based software designed to deliver personalized workout plans for members. The company is the first U.S. gym chain to implement the system, developed by EGYM, a provider of technology-driven training solutions.
EGYM Genius creates customized programs by factoring in member goals, fitness levels, and the equipment available at each location. The platform integrates with EoS Smart Strength equipment, which uses digital tracking and gamification features to personalize strength training. The software also adapts to include other machines and equipment in each gym, creating location-specific training plans.
Rowdy Yates, Executive Vice President of Fitness at EoS Fitness, said the goal is to streamline programming for trainers and members. “EGYM Genius speaks to our continued focus on innovating and transforming the health and fitness experience for all,” said Yates. “EGYM Genius empowers personal trainers to focus on what matters most—the members’ progress.”
By automating workout plan development, trainers can spend more time on client interaction. “Our personal trainers want more time with their clients to hold them accountable, demonstrate proper form and focus on outcomes,” said Yates. “Genius makes that possible. This collaboration marks another exciting milestone for us as we continue to raise the bar and set new industry standards.”
EGYM said the platform draws on extensive data to refine training programs over time. “EGYM Genius bridges smart technology with traditional gym equipment to deliver training plans that adapt and improve with every workout,” said John Ford, Chief Product Officer at EGYM. “EoS members will benefit from the insights from over seven billion EGYM Genius data points, combined with their personal training preferences, to create the ideal routine for achieving their fitness goals efficiently and effectively. We look forward to enhancing our partnership with EoS with the rollout of EGYM Genius, further elevating their members’ fitness journeys.”
The software will launch initially in Plano, Texas, and Port St. Lucie, Florida, before expanding to additional EoS locations nationwide equipped with Smart Strength systems.
