Equinox is expanding its partnership with Function, a health platform that provides access to more than 160 advanced lab tests and imaging supported by FDA cleared AI. Function is also developing a system called Medical Intelligence, which is intended to help people monitor and interpret biological data in real time. The next phase of the partnership brings clinical level testing deeper into the Equinox experience and aims to tie members’ training programs more closely to measurable internal health markers.

Through the expanded agreement, Equinox members will receive preferred access to Function through exclusive pricing and program based offerings. The first is a premium membership option for Function priced at 249 dollars for the first year, subsidized by Equinox. The regular annual price is 365 dollars. This membership includes access to Function’s full lab testing suite and personalized health insights across categories such as hormones and metabolic markers. The goal is to give members a clearer understanding of their physiology and support more precise adjustments to training.

The second offering is part of EQX ARC, a women’s health program introduced earlier this year. Function supplies the clinical testing and insights that support ARC’s training framework, including a full hormone panel for each participant. The program is designed to serve women across a wide range of life stages, from fertility and postpartum through perimenopause and later transitions. Function noted that its platform was built to support both women’s and men’s health, and that the integration with Equinox allows training plans to be informed by biomarkers tied to hormones, nutrients, and recovery.

Equinox executives described the partnership as a way to extend the company’s focus on long term health and performance by giving coaches and members access to clearer information about factors that influence training and recovery. Function leadership highlighted the potential for members to use their test results to guide their approach to exercise and to bring more intention into their programming.

The partnership reflects a broader trend in the fitness sector, where operators are increasingly blending training with clinical grade data, biomarker tracking, and health monitoring tools. Equinox and Function stated that their collaboration is meant to combine visible training habits with internal biological insights and to broaden how members define results in both fitness and long term performance.
