Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is broadening its reach in women’s health with the launch of a new specialty dedicated to perimenopause and menopause care. The expansion introduces tailored, affordable treatment plans that connect women with licensed providers trained to address the physical and emotional changes that come with this stage of life.

The company cited a significant disparity in healthcare access, noting that women spend an average of nine years in poor health, about 25% more than men, impacting their quality of life and productivity. Since its founding in 2018, Hers has worked to increase access to care and currently serves over half a million subscribers. The company projects it will surpass $1 billion in annual revenue by 2026.

Approximately 1.3 million women in the U.S. enter menopause each year, yet only 30% of OB/GYN residency programs include formal menopause training. The new Hers program aims to bridge that gap, offering access to licensed providers trained in perimenopause and menopause care.

Dr. Jessica Shepherd, Chief Medical Officer of Hers, stated that the initiative seeks to improve women’s trust and access to care within a healthcare system that has not historically served them equitably.

Eligible customers can receive treatment plans that may include prescription medications such as estradiol and progesterone, available in pill, patch, or cream form. Each plan is overseen by an independent licensed provider who can adjust treatments as needed. The company plans to expand its range of available options in 2026.
