Hone Health and BODYBAR Pilates have announced a partnership that will give members of both companies discounted access to each other's services, connecting biomarker testing and physician-guided care with studio-based fitness.
The partnership is launching across more than 40 BODYBAR Pilates studios in California, Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Utah and Colorado.
Under the agreement, participating BODYBAR members will receive 20% off Hone testing and a Hone Premium Membership for their first year, representing a total stated value of up to $385. Hone members will receive 15% off eligible BODYBAR Pilates memberships for their first year.
The partnership gives BODYBAR members access to Hone's biomarker testing and consultations with licensed physicians. Members can have their results reviewed alongside their symptoms, health history and goals. According to the companies, physicians may develop treatment plans and monitor progress when clinically appropriate.
"Consumers increasingly see movement, metabolic health, hormones and recovery as interconnected parts of their health," said Saad Alam, Co-Founder and CEO of Hone Health. "BODYBAR Pilates has built an engaged community around strength and consistency. This partnership allows us to add a clinical layer to that experience, helping members understand what is happening inside their bodies and make more informed decisions about their long-term health."
BODYBAR operates a reformer Pilates model focused on strength and mobility. The partnership adds a health-testing and clinical-care component outside the studio while providing Hone with access to an existing fitness membership base.
"At BODYBAR Pilates, we believe everyone has an inner athlete, and our goal is to create a space where people can discover just how strong they really are — real strength for real life, without the intimidation," said Kamille McCollum, President & Chief Brand Officer/Co-Founder at BODYBAR Pilates. "Our partnership with Hone extends that mindset beyond the studio, giving members deeper insight into their health, recovery and performance. With Hone, our members can better understand and support the bodies they're working so hard to strengthen."
The companies also plan to develop educational materials, member communications and community programming covering areas including movement, recovery, metabolic health and longevity.
For fitness operators, the partnership is another example of fitness brands expanding their relationships with healthcare and longevity providers. Rather than developing clinical services internally, the arrangement allows BODYBAR to offer members access to testing and physician consultations through an outside provider, while Hone gains a distribution channel through BODYBAR's studio network.
The partnership also reflects a broader business opportunity around connecting fitness memberships with services that extend beyond workouts, as operators and healthcare companies look for ways to participate in consumers' spending across exercise, recovery and preventive health.
