Pilates Addiction has sold 250 licenses across the United States, marking a key expansion milestone for the boutique Pilates franchise. The company expects its development pipeline to generate more than 2,000 new jobs in 2026 and plans to invest $5.25 million in instructor training tuition.

The growth comes amid continued expansion in the wellness economy. According to the Global Wellness Institute, the U.S. wellness market is valued at more than $1.8 trillion. Within boutique fitness, Pilates remains a strong-performing modality, driven by demand for low-impact, technique-focused training.

Each awarded license represents a future studio operated by a local franchisee, with additional openings expected nationwide over the next year. Roles tied to those openings are projected to include certified Pilates instructors, studio managers, front desk teams, and regional support positions.

To support staffing needs, the company plans to allocate $5.25 million in 2026 toward tuition through its internal training platform, the Pilates Addiction Movement Academy. It also announced it will waive its $4,000 tuition fee for new instructors hired into newly opened studios this year.

CEO Sarah Luna said the milestone reflects continued consumer demand for preventative health and personalized fitness experiences, while Liza Beres, Vice President of Educator Training, emphasized a curriculum centered on biomechanics and technical instruction.

With 250 territories awarded and additional studios scheduled to open, Pilates Addiction is entering its next phase of national expansion within the boutique fitness segment.
