Wellhub and Urban Sports Club are expanding their leadership structure in Europe following their combination in 2025, as the company continues to scale its corporate wellbeing offering across the region.

The combined platform now serves nearly 50,000 corporate clients and connects more than 5 million employee subscribers. Its global network includes over 100,000 fitness and wellness providers, with close to 30,000 gyms, studios, and operators located in Europe.

Europe is a key market for the business, and the updated structure is intended to support growth across multiple countries.

As part of the changes, Urban Sports Club co-founder Benjamin Roth will lead partnerships for the expanded European region. His role will focus on growing the network of fitness and wellness providers, supported by a leadership team overseeing three sub-regions.

Urban Sports Club co-founder Moritz Kreppel will continue as CEO of the Urban Sports Club brand, with a focus on its consumer-facing business.

For operators, the model offers access to a large base of corporate clients and employees. The company reports that participation rates on its platform are three to five times higher than traditional corporate wellness programs, and that more than 80 percent of its members did not previously have a gym membership. That dynamic is intended to drive incremental usage and new member acquisition for partner facilities.

The structure also reflects how the business is positioning its two brands. Wellhub remains focused on corporate wellness, while Urban Sports Club continues to operate as a consumer-facing membership product.

As the platform grows in Europe, the strategy appears to center on expanding supply across local markets while increasing demand through corporate partnerships, connecting employers, employees, and fitness operators within a single system.
