World Gym Corporation has announced a three-year strategic partnership with HYROX, marking HYROX’s largest partnership in the APAC region to date.

The collaboration will initially roll out across 140 corporate-owned World Gym locations in Taiwan, with planned expansion into Thailand later this year. World Gym said the partnership is designed to accelerate HYROX’s growth in Taiwan while creating a scalable model for future expansion across World Gym’s broader franchise network.

World Gym Taiwan currently serves 500,000 members and sees more than 40 million annual visits across its club network. Through the HYROX partnership, the company will integrate HYROX-style training into its personal training services and club operations. World Gym Taiwan will also host satellite challenges and mini events featuring HYROX-style competitions to support member engagement and competition preparation.

HYROX combines running with functional fitness and has grown rapidly worldwide. According to the announcement, more than 1.3 million people competed across 140 HYROX events globally over the last 12 months. The 2026 HYROX Taiwan event attracted more than 16,000 participants.

The partnership gives HYROX access to World Gym Taiwan’s 3.6 million monthly visits, large-format clubs, functional training spaces, 124,000 active personal training clients, and 3,100 certified trainers.

World Gym Taiwan will also host HYROX-style competitive events across Taiwan, combining training programs, event preparation, and community-building opportunities within its clubs.

The announcement follows World Gym’s 2024 acquisition of World Gym International and recent expansion activity in Mexico, Brazil, and Australia, along with its upcoming entry into Thailand.
