World Gym is entering the Thailand market with plans to open its first club at Imperial World Samrong.

The new location will add Thailand to the company’s international footprint, which currently includes nearly 300 clubs across six continents and more than one million members worldwide. Taiwan remains World Gym’s largest market, with more than 140 locations.

The Thailand club will include equipment from Matrix and Abs Company, along with technology such as AI Posture Diagnostics and the MYZONE Switch wearable. The posture assessment is designed to provide members with information on posture, balance and flexibility, while MYZONE supports effort-based training.

World Gym also plans to extend its partnership with HYROX into Thailand later this year. The company is currently HYROX’s largest partner in the Asia-Pacific region through its network in Taiwan.

“Thailand is a strategic next step for World Gym. This market has the energy, ambition and rising fitness culture our brand was built on. Our promise here is simple: we're not just opening a gym, we're making world-class fitness part of everyday life. And we're bringing our 50 years of legacy and the technology that defines the next generation of fitness here to achieve this,” said John Caraccio, Chairman and President of World Gym Corporation.

Founded in California in 1976, World Gym has expanded from its bodybuilding roots into an international fitness operator. Its entry into Thailand represents another step in the company’s continued growth across Asia.
