Xponential Fitness has divested two of its boutique fitness concepts, CycleBar and Rumble, transferring ownership to Extraordinary Brands. The move comes as part of the company’s ongoing effort to focus resources on brands with stronger profitability profiles.
In a statement, Xponential Fitness CEO Mark King said, “Divesting CycleBar and Rumble is consistent with what we emphasized during our Investor Day in New York: We will focus our time and capital on the brands that drive profitability both today and also in the longer term. We are committed to putting our franchisees first, while enhancing our operations, growth, and member experience.”
Xponential noted that it will work with Extraordinary Brands to support a smooth transition for existing franchisees. The company did not disclose terms of the transaction.
CycleBar and Rumble were among more than ten boutique brands under the Xponential umbrella. With this divestiture, the company appears to be streamlining its portfolio to prioritize operational efficiency and long-term performance. There have been no announcements regarding potential changes to other brands or upcoming acquisitions.
