UFC GYM® has announced the launch of UFC GYM Jiu-Jitsu, a new franchise offering that focuses on one of the most widely practiced martial arts. The studios, designed to be around 2,500 square feet, will provide instruction in Jiu-Jitsu alongside integrated MMA-inspired programming.

The new model is intended to create a clear business opportunity for instructors and entrepreneurs interested in entering the fitness and combat sports industry. Each location will be led by qualified Jiu-Jitsu practitioners, including certified black belts and higher, with the goal of maintaining consistent instruction across all locations.

Adam Sedlack, CEO of UFC GYM, noted the growing interest in Jiu-Jitsu. “With 2.8 million active practitioners in the U.S. alone, Jiu-Jitsu’s popularity continues to surge as more people seek self-defense skills and dynamic fitness training,” Sedlack said. “UFC GYM Jiu-Jitsu delivers an authentic, world-class training experience, backed by UFC’s unmatched credibility and brand strength.”

The new studios will also provide access to Alta Global Group’s Warrior Training Program, which offers a structured fight-camp-style approach to training for those interested in competition. UFC GYM says the program is designed to help everyday athletes train in a way similar to professional fighters.

To support franchisees, UFC GYM is working with BJJ Link, a gym management and engagement platform that serves more than 50,000 active students. BJJ Link’s services include gym operations, payment processing, student engagement tools and content monetization. This partnership is intended to streamline administrative tasks and support community-building efforts.

The UFC GYM Jiu-Jitsu franchise aims to expand the brand’s footprint in the martial arts community while providing opportunities for instructors and entrepreneurs to participate in a growing market. The new offering combines Jiu-Jitsu instruction, community-focused programming and a framework for consistent business operations.
