Equinox Expands Women’s Health Program EQX ARC With Oura Ring Integration

Equinox has expanded its push into data-informed women’s health programming with the addition of ŌURA to EQX ARC, its women’s health initiative designed to support female physiology across every life stage. The program officially launched today, bringing together Equinox’s coaching ecosystem with continuous biometric data from Oura Ring and clinical health testing from Function.
EQX ARC was built by women’s health experts and is grounded in emerging research around female physiology, an area that has historically been underrepresented in both fitness and performance science. The program is designed to help women better understand how hormonal cycles, recovery, sleep, and stress influence training outcomes, from cycle health and fertility through postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond.
Through the integration with ŌURA, participating members who consent to data sharing will have access to continuous biometric insights from Oura Ring, including sleep stages, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, temperature trends, and readiness scores. These signals allow both members and Equinox coaches to adjust training intensity, recovery strategies, and lifestyle choices in response to real-time physiological feedback rather than static programs.
EQX ARC also includes an existing partnership with Function, which provides access to more than 160 lab tests and clinician-reviewed insights from licensed medical professionals. Together, the combination of wearable biometrics and clinical-grade lab testing is intended to give members a more complete picture of how their bodies are responding to training and life stressors, and what adjustments may be needed to support performance and long-term health.
“Equinox is advancing the next chapter of women’s health span and longevity,” said Stephanie Musso, Vice President and Chief of Staff at Equinox. She noted that the partnerships with ŌURA and Function deepen the insight available to Equinox’s coaching teams, allowing them to better support recovery, performance, and overall well-being.
From the ŌURA perspective, the integration reflects a broader shift toward personalized, data-informed training models. Dr. Chris Curry, Clinical Director of Women’s Health at ŌURA, said the collaboration helps women better understand how their bodies respond to training, sleep, stress, and recovery, enabling smarter day-to-day decisions that support both immediate performance and long-term health.
Function’s leadership framed the partnership as a response to long-standing gaps in how women’s bodies have been supported in fitness and healthcare settings. Dr. Tiffany Lester, Women’s Health Medical Director at Function, said the company’s goal has been to make advanced health testing, including comprehensive hormone panels, more accessible. Bringing those insights into a structured coaching and training environment, she said, better reflects how women’s physiology actually works across different life stages.
