For the first time, the Global Wellness Summit will take place in the heart of Dubai, drawing global leaders from across the $6.3 trillion wellness economy to chart the course for where the industry is headed next. From November 18 to 21, 2025, the Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai will host top executives from fitness, hospitality, technology, investment, and healthcare sectors as they tackle the seismic shift currently reshaping wellness: the rise of longevity and healthspan as economic and cultural drivers.
The four-day event will explore the future of all eleven wellness sectors, including physical activity, mental wellness, spas, wellness tourism, and the rapidly expanding wellness real estate market. This year’s theme is built around collaboration, scientific inquiry, and innovation, with longevity taking center stage.
“The speed at which longevity has shaken up the wellness, health, tech and biotech industries is astounding. It’s a true inflection point for our industry and world,” said Nancy Davis, chief creative officer and executive director of the Global Wellness Summit. “We will convene the innovators from across the space, often embracing dramatically different approaches, to have an open, evidence-focused discussion on what’s ahead and why.”
Attendees can expect a range of perspectives on aging and wellness, including research-based panels and debates from clinical, tech, and lifestyle experts. Co-chair Dr. Michael Roizen, chief wellness officer at the Cleveland Clinic, brings decades of experience in integrative medicine and aging science to the table. “Wellness naturally evolves to longevity,” said Roizen. “I’m excited to help create a Summit that will powerfully portray, and help the industry understand, this evolution and bring together the trailblazers and the most important new scientific research in longevity and healthspan.”
In addition to scientific and consumer trends, the Summit is placing renewed emphasis on cross-sector collaboration. For the first time, executives from different segments of the wellness industry will participate in closed-door strategy sessions exploring the question: What can we accomplish together that we can’t accomplish on our own? These collaborative forums aim to generate solutions that span beyond brand silos and tap into the industry's collective influence.
New research from the Global Wellness Institute will also debut during the event, including updated findings from the Global Wellness Economy Monitor and a focused report on the wellness real estate sector, which is projected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2029. In the Middle East and North Africa region alone, wellness real estate has grown from $710 million in 2019 to $2 billion in 2024, highlighting Dubai’s relevance as a host city.
“I could not be more excited to welcome leaders from the wellness industry to our home in Dubai,” said Jeremy Jauncey, Summit co-chair and founder of Beautiful Destinations. “We have so much happening here to share with you, across all areas of health, wellness, and of course, hospitality, that I'm sure you'll be impressed with the vision, and we hope to make this the biggest and best Global Wellness Summit yet.”
The UAE’s wellness economy is now valued at over $34 billion, with wellness tourism alone growing at an annual rate of 16.5 percent, second only to China. Strategic investments in preventative health, sustainability, and longevity innovation are helping position the region as a global epicenter for wellness business.
Joining Roizen and Jauncey as co-chairs are Ömer K. Isvan, president of Servotel Corporation and an international hospitality investment advisor, and Anna Bjurstam, strategic advisor for Six Senses and founder of spa consultancy Raison d’Etre.
As the conversation around longevity expands and the definition of wellness continues to evolve, the Global Wellness Summit offers a key opportunity for fitness and wellness operators to understand how to remain competitive in a changing landscape. In this environment, healthspan, collaboration, and evidence-based offerings are increasingly becoming the industry standard.
