ŌURA and LillyDirect have announced a collaboration aimed at expanding digital support for people using prescribed GLP-1 medications, combining biometric tracking with behavioral health tools designed to complement clinical care.

As part of the collaboration, eligible LillyDirect customers will receive a free Oura Ring sizing kit, providing access to the company's smart ring platform and health tracking ecosystem.

The partnership reflects growing interest in combining prescription obesity treatments with digital tools that support long-term lifestyle changes, including sleep, activity and recovery.

According to the companies, the initiative is intended to improve access to behavioral support alongside prescribed GLP-1 therapies by connecting pharmaceutical care with wearable technology.

"At Lilly, we're thinking about what patients need throughout their entire care journey, not just at the point of prescription but in the daily moments that shape long-term success," said Jennifer Mazur, senior vice president of U.S. LillyDirect and Consumer Services at Eli Lilly and Company. "This is about building a more complete ecosystem around the patient."

The announcement builds on Oura's recent launch of GLP-1 Insights, a feature within the Oura App designed for people using GLP-1 medications. The feature combines biometric data with medication-specific tracking to provide users with additional context around sleep, readiness, activity and other physiological metrics throughout treatment.

According to Oura, more than half of its members identify as living with obesity or being overweight, and tens of thousands already log their GLP-1 therapy within the app. The company expects that number to increase as adoption of GLP-1 medications continues to grow globally.

"As more people use GLP-1 therapies, there's an opportunity to better support the day-to-day habits that influence outcomes," said Ricky Bloomfield, MD, chief medical officer at Oura. "By integrating daily habits with real-time biometric insights, we can offer a more connected and personalized approach to support lasting results—not just in weight on the scale, but in how people feel and function every day."

The collaboration highlights the continued expansion of digital health ecosystems around GLP-1 therapies, as pharmaceutical companies, wearable technology providers and digital health platforms increasingly work together to support patients beyond the initial prescription.
