WHOOP has launched two new wearable devices, WHOOP 5.0 and WHOOP MG, alongside a redesigned app experience and updated membership pricing. The announcement comes as consumer demand continues to grow for wearables that go beyond activity tracking to deliver deeper health insights.

The new hardware includes a smaller design, extended 14-day battery life, and enhanced sensor technology that collects data 26 times per second. According to the company, the processor powering the devices offers ten times the power efficiency of prior models.

New features introduced with this launch include Healthspan with WHOOP Age, which calculates physiological age using nine long-term health metrics. Developed in collaboration with Dr. Eric Verdin, CEO of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, the feature also tracks changes in what WHOOP refers to as “Pace of Aging.”

WHOOP MG adds an FDA-cleared electrocardiogram feature called Heart Screener. Users can take ECG readings from the wrist and receive notifications about irregular heart rhythms, including atrial fibrillation, which can be shared with healthcare providers.

Additional tools include blood pressure insights using a patent-pending estimation method, women’s hormonal tracking designed for multiple life stages, and updates to the Sleep Score for improved accuracy. The company is also introducing WHOOP Advanced Labs, a new service that will integrate blood test results and clinician reports directly into the app. A waitlist is now open.

Fitness tracking now includes daily step counts, VO₂ max, muscular strain during strength training, and over 145 supported activities. WHOOP MG also enables medical-grade ECG readings through a conductive clasp activated by the user's fingers.

“This isn’t just a product launch. It’s a new chapter for WHOOP and for our members,” said WHOOP Founder and CEO Will Ahmed. “We’ve taken everything we’ve learned over the past decade and built a platform to help our members perform and live at their peak for longer. We’ve held nothing back.”

The company also introduced new membership tiers: WHOOP One at $199 per year, WHOOP Peak at $239 per year, and WHOOP Life at $359 per year, each with varying levels of access to hardware and features.
