Xponential Fitness has finalized a settlement with the Federal Trade Commission, resolving previously disclosed allegations tied to its past franchising disclosure practices.

Under the terms of the agreement, the company will pay $17 million in redress to franchisees over a 12-month period. The settlement does not include any admission of wrongdoing and has been submitted to the court for approval.

The matter relates to historical practices and closes an overhang that the company has been working through. Xponential said the resolution allows it to move forward under new management with a focus on growth and franchisee support.

Xponential operates a portfolio of boutique fitness brands including Club Pilates, StretchLab, YogaSix, Pure Barre and BFT, with a global franchise network spanning the U.S. and international markets.
