YogaSix has officially launched a new mobility-focused class format, Y6 Mobility, across select U.S. studios, with additional locations expected to adopt the offering throughout 2025.

The class integrates traditional yoga postures with functional mobility exercises. It targets joints and muscle groups that are commonly associated with limited range of motion, including the hips, shoulders, ankles, and lower back. According to the company, the format was developed in response to growing consumer interest in mobility, recovery, and injury prevention.

Initial programs began earlier this spring. The class is being positioned as appropriate for a wide range of individuals, including athletes, sedentary workers, and aging populations seeking to improve everyday movement quality.

Certified YogaSix instructors are leading the format and incorporating standard yoga props along with a new tool called Mobility Balls. These are designed to assist with flexibility, coordination, and joint control. The company states that instructors have received specialized training to offer modifications and ensure proper form and safety.

YogaSix is one of several brands adapting to the increasing demand for fitness solutions that support long-term physical function and movement efficiency. Industry operators have observed a broader shift toward programming that prioritizes recovery, corrective movement, and sustainable performance.

Studios offering the new format are hosting preview events throughout May and June to introduce the class to current members and prospective clients. Performance data from the initial rollout has not yet been released.

YogaSix operates more than 170 locations across the United States and continues to expand under the Xponential Fitness franchising model.
