Registration is now open for the 2026 HFA European Congress, which will take place September 24–26 at London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The event marks the return of the Congress to London for the first time since 2017 and is expected to bring together senior operators, suppliers, investors, and industry leaders from across Europe and beyond for three days focused on business strategy, industry trends, and networking.
According to the Health & Fitness Association, nearly 75% of attendees are expected to be executive-level decision-makers, positioning the Congress as one of the industry’s key leadership gatherings in the European market.
The 2026 event is being presented in partnership with ukactive, with Leisure DB founder David Minton serving as local host. Both organizations will support program development and speaker selection.
“ukactive is delighted to join HFA as a partner for this year’s European Congress in London,” said ukactive CEO Cameron Saunders. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to strengthening the fitness and physical activity sector across Europe. We look forward to helping create a world-class program that will inspire, challenge, and unite our global community.”
Minton added: “Delegates can look forward to a top-notch learning and networking opportunity with other industry leaders and exploring some of the most stunning fitness and wellness venues from boutique studios to biohacking concepts.”
The Congress agenda will focus on several topics currently shaping the global fitness industry, including digital transformation, workforce development, investment activity, and the growing connection between fitness, healthcare, and preventative wellness.
The event will also include insights from the 2026 HFA Global Report, alongside discussions surrounding GLP-1 medications and how operators are adapting to shifts in consumer health behavior and weight management.
Programming is scheduled for September 24 and 25, followed by curated club and studio tours throughout London on September 26. The tours are designed to showcase emerging fitness and wellness concepts across the city, including boutique studios, recovery-focused facilities, and biohacking experiences.
