Hyperice has been named to Fast Company’s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2026, highlighting a period of accelerated product development as the recovery and wellness technology category continues to evolve.
The recognition comes during one of the most active innovation cycles in Hyperice’s history, with product launches spanning wearable recovery, contrast therapy and percussion devices over the past year.
Among the most notable developments is the Hyperboot, created in partnership with Nike. The device combines footwear design with integrated recovery technology, reflecting a broader push toward embedding recovery directly into performance products rather than treating it as a separate category.
Hyperice has also expanded its contrast therapy line with the Hyperice X 2 Knee and Shoulder, introducing combined heat, cold and compression in a single system. More recently, the company launched the Hypervolt 3 series, an update to its core percussion offering with a focus on usability, battery life and accessibility, including FSA and HSA eligibility.
The pace of product development points to a larger shift in the fitness and wellness market.
Recovery, once positioned as a secondary or elite-level service, is becoming a more central part of the overall fitness experience. As consumers place greater emphasis on longevity, injury prevention and performance sustainability, demand for accessible recovery solutions continues to grow.
For operators, this trend is showing up both in facility design and ancillary revenue opportunities. Recovery zones, compression therapy and guided recovery services are increasingly being integrated into gyms, studios and wellness facilities as a complement to traditional training.
Hyperice’s continued investment in new formats, particularly wearable and portable devices, also reflects the growing importance of at-home and hybrid wellness models. Consumers are no longer relying solely on in-club services, creating demand for products that extend the fitness experience beyond the facility.
Fast Company’s annual list evaluates companies across industries based on their ability to drive meaningful innovation and real-world impact. Hyperice’s inclusion for a second time signals its role in shaping how recovery technology is positioned within the broader fitness and wellness ecosystem.
