Life Time is expanding further into hybrid training with the launch of HYBRID XT, a new Signature Group Training program designed to connect everyday members to performance-based competition.

The program blends strength and conditioning into a single format, reflecting the continued rise of hybrid fitness, where athletes are expected to perform across multiple modalities rather than specialize in one. Each class is structured around training blocks that combine cardiovascular work, functional strength, and athletic movement patterns such as pushing, pulling, and carrying.

HYBRID XT is positioned as a scalable, daily training option across select Life Time clubs, while also serving as a feeder into the company’s growing competition ecosystem. That includes the return of the LT Games, a multi-stage event testing strength, endurance, and overall athleticism, set to take place in Minneapolis on April 25.

The move aligns with broader industry momentum around formats like HYROX and other hybrid competitions, which have driven increased demand for programming that prepares members to perform under fatigue and transition between different types of effort.

From an operator standpoint, the strategy goes beyond class programming. By linking in-club training directly to owned events, Life Time is building a more integrated performance pathway, giving members a clear progression from everyday workouts to competitive experiences.

HYBRID XT is expected to roll out across additional locations throughout 2026, reinforcing Life Time’s focus on performance-driven training and event-based member engagement as part of its broader athletic country club model.
