Lindora Names Former Equinox Executive Andrew Marlow as President

Lindora has appointed Andrew Marlow as President, marking a significant step in the brand’s national evolution and its expansion into provider-guided metabolic health. The leadership appointment follows Lindora’s acquisition by the parent company of Next Health in September 2025 and signals a sharpened focus on scale, innovation, and long-term health outcomes.
Marlow brings extensive experience scaling premium fitness and wellness brands, having held executive leadership roles at Equinox and Pure Barre. His mandate is to build on Lindora’s 55-year legacy while leading the brand beyond traditional medical weight loss into a more comprehensive metabolic health model.
“Metabolic health is the defining health challenge of our time,” Marlow said. “Patients deserve more than short-term weight loss. They deserve long-term health. That’s why Lindora’s new motto is ‘Muscle First: Everything Else Follows.’”
Founded in 1971, Lindora has historically focused on medically supervised weight management. Under its new leadership, the company is repositioning around metabolic health, addressing the underlying drivers of weight gain, fatigue, and chronic disease rather than treating weight as a standalone issue. National NHANES data shows that more than 90 percent of U.S. adults are metabolically unhealthy, reinforcing the need for a more integrated approach.
At the center of Lindora’s evolution is a six-pillar metabolic health framework focused on muscle, metabolism, hydration and nutrients, gut health, hormone health, and energy. These pillars are delivered through Lindora’s in-clinic medical model and informed by lab data, body composition, and functional strength assessments.
The brand’s muscle-first strategy is intentional. Muscle plays a critical role in blood sugar regulation, energy stability, and long-term health. Within Lindora clinics, services such as nutrition, hormone optimization, and GLP-1 use are structured to preserve muscle and support metabolic function, rather than drive rapid weight loss alone. Regular retesting allows providers and patients to assess progress and adjust care based on data.
As part of its next phase, Lindora is expanding in-clinic offerings, including resistance-based EMS training to support muscle development, with additional gut health tools and microbiome testing planned.
Looking ahead, Lindora will officially launch franchise sales on February 1, 2026, with an active waitlist already in place. The growth strategy is designed to bring Lindora’s metabolic health model to new markets while maintaining consistent clinical standards and operational discipline.
“With strong leadership and a clear vision, Lindora is positioned to scale its impact nationally,” said Scott Svilich, COO of Lindora’s parent company.
