UFC GYM has officially entered the Mainland China market, marking its first expansion into the region. The move represents a notable step in UFC GYM’s international growth strategy as it looks to extend its performance-based training model into high-potential global fitness markets.

Unlike traditional health clubs, UFC GYM positions itself around a training-first model rooted in mixed martial arts and athletic performance. Facilities integrate MMA-inspired training, high-intensity interval training, powerlifting, HYROXprogramming, group fitness, recovery services, and physical therapy. The brand’s approach is designed to serve a wide range of fitness levels while maintaining a strong emphasis on strength, conditioning, and mental resilience.

UFC GYM’s programming is developed in collaboration with UFC athletes and coaching teams, with an emphasis on applied training principles and measurable performance outcomes. The brand has built its global footprint by positioning itself as a premium, results-oriented fitness offering that blends structured training systems with community-driven club environments.

The expansion into Mainland China aligns with continued growth in demand for structured, performance-focused fitness experiences across the region. China’s fitness and wellness market has increasingly shifted toward higher-quality facilities, specialized training concepts, and experiences that go beyond general gym access.

According to Adam Sedlack, CEO of UFC GYM, the decision reflects strong alignment between the brand’s training philosophy and local consumer behavior. He noted that performance, discipline, and self-improvement resonate with UFC GYM’s “Train Different” positioning, which emphasizes purpose-driven training and long-term capability building.

Boni Wang, CEO of UFC GYM China, cited the country’s accelerating interest in fitness and wellness as a key driver behind the launch. Wang indicated that the brand’s training methodology and community-focused culture are expected to appeal to consumers seeking structured paths toward strength, conditioning, and overall performance.

UFC GYM plans to open initial locations in major Mainland China cities, featuring comprehensive training environments that include dedicated strength zones, functional training areas, recovery spaces, and branded retail. The company will partner with local operators to deliver club experiences that align with UFC GYM’s global operating standards and training protocols.

The China entry adds to UFC GYM’s growing international presence and underscores the broader trend of premium, performance-led fitness brands targeting emerging global markets with strong long-term growth potential.
