Walla, a U.S.-based software provider for boutique fitness studios, has entered the Canadian market, offering what it calls “Studio Performance Software.” The platform uses artificial intelligence to provide predictive insights on member behavior, with the goal of helping studios improve retention and streamline operations.
The company says its system goes beyond traditional management tools by automating lead generation, personalizing marketing campaigns, and simplifying sales processes. Walla positions these features as a way to reduce administrative work for studio owners and improve class attendance.
“The era of simply running a studio is over. In an industry questioning what’s next, we are entering a new age of profitable, predictable, and confident growth,” said Doug Hecht, CEO and co-founder of Walla. “Our expansion into Canada is about providing studio owners with a partner that helps them get ahead. The studios making this leap with us aren’t looking back, because they’ve discovered that with the right partnership, their potential is limitless.”
According to the company, its AI-driven tools can anticipate potential membership loss, enabling studios to act before members cancel. The platform is currently used by a variety of businesses in the United States, including yoga, Pilates, barre, and high-intensity interval training studios. Clients listed by Walla include Red Light Method, The Bunny Hive, Elevate Training, and The River Yoga.
Walla says the system is scalable for multi-location and franchise operations. Its move into Canada reflects the company’s broader aim to grow its presence in North America and provide studio owners with additional data-driven tools to support business performance.
