Zenoti has expanded its AI-based business management platform into the fitness industry, extending technology it previously deployed across beauty, wellness, and medical aesthetics businesses. The company says the platform is designed to consolidate marketing, membership management, payments, and operational workflows into a single system for gyms and fitness clubs.

According to Zenoti, fitness operators that have already adopted the platform are reporting a 34 percent reduction in member cancellations, along with improved payment collection and higher lead-to-member conversion rates. While Zenoti did not disclose the number of fitness businesses currently using the platform, it cited early adopter performance as an indicator of demand for more integrated operational tools in the sector.

The platform has been widely used in adjacent wellness categories, where Zenoti reports serving more than 30,000 spas, salons, and medspas. The company states that its expansion into fitness leverages the same underlying infrastructure, which applies machine learning across aggregated operational data to automate routine decisions and personalize customer engagement.

Fitness operators have historically relied on a mix of disconnected software systems to manage sales, scheduling, billing, and member communications. Zenoti positions its platform as a response to these fragmented workflows, using predictive analytics and automation to reduce manual processes and identify retention risks earlier in the member lifecycle.

The fitness-focused rollout includes Zenoti’s AI Workforce tools, which automate specific operational functions. The AI Lead Manager is designed to respond to inquiries, qualify prospects, and manage follow-up communication, while AI Concierge supports front-desk operations through automated scheduling assistance, call analysis, and member interaction handling. Zenoti says these tools are intended to reduce staff workload while maintaining consistent engagement with prospective and existing members.

Zenoti reports that its AI platform has contributed to more than $1 billion in incremental revenue across its broader beauty and wellness customer base, though it has not broken out revenue figures specific to fitness. The company notes growing inbound interest from gym operators seeking to modernize operations and consolidate technology stacks as competitive pressures and member expectations increase.

The expansion reflects a broader trend in the fitness industry toward adopting AI-driven tools for retention, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency, particularly as operators look for scalable solutions to manage rising costs and fluctuating member behavior.
