With the HFA Show 2026 approaching, EGYM plans to introduce a new generation of connected strength equipment alongside a broader technology platform designed to link training, member data, and club operations.

The company will debut its Smart Strength Series 3 machines while outlining a larger strategy built around what it describes as an operating system for fitness facilities. The idea is to connect the training floor, data tracking, and business tools into one system rather than relying on a mix of separate apps and equipment platforms.

The Smart Strength Series 3 machines are the latest version of EGYM’s connected strength equipment. The new models include changes to ergonomics, software integration, and overall design. According to the company, the goal is to help operators deliver consistent training experiences across multiple locations while still adapting workouts to individual members.

The equipment features redesigned padding, adjusted grip angles, and updated range-of-motion settings intended to improve comfort and accessibility for users with different levels of experience. Each machine includes an 18.5-inch display positioned at eye level and integrated lighting on the equipment. Members can log in using NFC technology through their smartphones.

The machines also connect directly with training software. Programs can sync with the equipment so resistance and intensity adjust automatically based on a member’s training plan. Performance data from each workout is recorded and used to guide progression over time.

Alongside the equipment launch, EGYM plans to introduce a platform designed to bring several parts of a fitness facility into one system. The company says many gyms currently operate with a mix of disconnected machines, apps, and data systems, which can make it difficult to track performance or manage operations as a business grows.

The EGYM platform connects several components. Smart machines provide the training interface on the floor. The system guides members from onboarding through ongoing training. Data tools analyze workout performance, and management tools give operators insight into equipment usage and facility performance. The platform is also designed to integrate with outside partners.

“We aren’t just building more technology. We’re building the operating system that drives lasting results,” said Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, co-founder and CEO of EGYM.

The platform also supports a longevity-focused training program built around strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health. The program uses member data to create individualized training plans aimed at supporting long-term health.

Beyond traditional gym memberships, the system can also connect with corporate wellness programs through EGYM Wellpass, the company’s workplace fitness offering.

For club operators, the launch reflects a shift toward platforms that combine equipment, software, and data management into a single system rather than relying on separate tools.

“Products can be copied. An integrated, learning system built over years of data cannot,” said Roesch-Schlanderer.

EGYM says the new machines and operating platform are intended for a range of facilities, including boutique studios, nonprofit organizations, large health club chains, and corporate fitness centers.
