[solidcore] has introduced a new national brand campaign titled “Get Obsessed.” The effort marks the company’s first celebrity collaboration and was co-created with comedian, actress, and writer Ego Nwodim, a former cast member of Saturday Night Live.
The campaign highlights the devotion of [solidcore] clients, who often book classes weeks in advance and organize their schedules around preferred times and instructors. Through film, social media, studio activations, and digital channels, the creative platform seeks to reflect the intensity of that commitment.
Shane McCarthy, Senior Vice President of Digital & Marketing at [solidcore], said the project centers on the mindset of participants. “[solidcore] is more than just a workout – it’s about choosing who you want to be,” McCarthy said. “Our clients aren’t casual. They’ve made the decision that their strength, growth, and well-being are non-negotiable. That’s the energy we’re celebrating with this campaign, spotlighting clients like Ego Nwodim, who embody what it means to be truly obsessed.”
Nwodim, a longtime client with nearly 300 classes completed, contributed to the development of the campaign narrative, including script, pacing, and tone. “This isn’t just a workout for me, it’s a practice that has helped me build strength and endurance that serve me well beyond the 50 minutes I spend in class,” she said. “To bring a genuine passion into a brand partnership and to get to share it with friends feels incredibly special.”
The centerpiece of the campaign is a short film directed by Quinn Meyers, with narration and script contributions from Nwodim alongside Patrick McDonald and actress-comedian Lily Sullivan. The campaign was developed with creative agency Farrynheight.
Farryn Weiner, Founder and CEO of Farrynheight, said the campaign aims to differentiate [solidcore] from more traditional depictions of fitness. “In a fitness culture that often feels exclusionary or fixated with perfection, [solidcore] is the opposite,” Weiner said. “It’s a place where individuality is embraced, and where your wins—big or small—are yours to own. From the start, our goal has been to create a platform that reflects a deeper truth: at its core, [solidcore] is about strength, and our consumers are driven by a relentless commitment to personal development and betterment.”
