Xponential Fitness has signed the largest multi-unit agreement in its history, expanding its partnership with franchise operator Riser Fitness and accelerating the growth of its Club Pilates brand.

Under the agreement, Riser Fitness will develop 127 new Club Pilates studios over the next five years. The deal includes remaining territories across six states: California, Idaho, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

Riser Fitness is already one of the largest operators within the Xponential system. Founded in 2013 and backed by more than $140 million in growth capital from funds affiliated with Fortress Investment Group, the company operates more than 110 studios across eight U.S. states and has begun expanding internationally.

With this latest agreement, Riser Fitness now holds more than 340 licenses across its development pipeline, making it the largest franchisee within Xponential Fitness by total licenses.

The company has also started to build out its international footprint. It recently opened its first Club Pilates location in Mexico City as a master franchisee and is planning a 40-unit development pipeline in the market. Additional expansion is expected in Australia through a combination of new studio development and acquisitions.

The deal reflects a broader shift within the boutique fitness sector, where larger franchise groups are taking on more territory and scaling established concepts. For Xponential, this approach allows for faster development through operators that already have infrastructure, capital, and operating experience.

Club Pilates remains one of the most established brands in the Xponential portfolio. The brand has grown to more than 1,400 studios globally, positioning it as the largest Pilates franchise system by unit count.

Other franchise groups are also contributing to that growth. Operators such as Aligned Fitness and Spartan Fitnesscollectively own more than 300 active Club Pilates locations.

The expansion comes as demand for Pilates continues to rise across North America. The format appeals to a wide range of consumers, from those seeking low-impact training to members incorporating reformer-based workouts into broader wellness routines.

For operators, the model offers a structured class format and recurring membership revenue. For Xponential Fitness, the Riser Fitness agreement signals a continued focus on scaling through established franchise partners as the boutique segment matures.
